How Clevor® works
Targeted pharmacological action
Clevor® contains ropinirole, a dopamine agonist that stimulates the chemoreceptor trigger zone (CRTZ) to induce vomiting.
Administered as eye drops, ropinirole is rapidly absorbed via the conjunctiva, initiating emesis without the need for parenteral delivery.
This targeted mechanism supports predictable induction of vomiting when clinically indicated, often within 10 minutes.

Safety information
For veterinary professionals
Administration: Clevor® is administered to the eye, at a target dose of 3.75 mg/m2 corresponding to 1–8 eye drops based on the body weight of the dog. Contraindications: Central nervous system depression, seizures or other marked neurologic impairments; hypoxia, dyspnea or lack of pharyngeal reflexes; ingestion of sharp foreign objects, corrosive agents, volatile substances or organic solvents; hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Adverse reactions: Very common: Transient mild or moderate hyperaemia of the eye, ocular discharge, protrusion of the 3rd eyelid and blepharospasm, transient mild lethargy and increased heart rate. See the detailed information in the SPC. Use during pregnancy or lactation: Not recommended. Interaction with other medicinal products: Dopamine antagonists, neuroleptics and other medicines with antiemetic properties may reduce the effectiveness of ropinirole.
