Animalcare Ltd sell a range of branded veterinary licensed pharmaceuticals. The range can be divided into four main categories; antibacterials, anaesthetics and analgesics, Aqupharm and vitamins & speciality pharmaceuticals.

In September Animalcare launched Anivac VHD, a vaccine to prevent viral haemorrhagic disease in rabbits. Anivac VHD utilises the most up to date adjuvants available setting it apart from other products on the market for both user and patient safety.
Florgane suspension for injection was also launched in October 2010. Florgane is a novel florfenicol presentation for bovine respiratory disease. This novel patented product is an aqueous suspension for injection which has several benefits to veterinary surgeons and farmers.
Whilst in June 2010, Phenoleptil, containing phenobarbital, was launched in the UK. Phenoleptil is beef flavoured (with yeast extract) and is licensed for treatment of epilepsy in dogs and is available in 12.5mg and 50mg blistered tablets. Enrocare injection was also launched in the summer of 2010. Enrocare contains enrofloxacin and is available in 2.5%, 5% and 10% solutions.
These new products follow the successful launches of Cephacare, Buprecare and Benazecare over the last 2 years in the UK and on mainland Europe.
Cephacare flavour contains cephalexin one of the cephalosporin family of antibacterials, Buprecare contains buprenorphine, an opioids analgesic. Benazecare flavour contains benazepril hydrochloride for the treatment of renal insufficiency in cats and congestive heart failure in dogs.
Animalcare is actively looking at new products to add to its range in order to offer its customers a greater range of effective therapies at competitive prices.
